Hypertufa Workshop
|
In this class you will learn the step-by-step process to making hypertufa pots, then dig in and create your own. What is hypertufa you may ask? A lightweight, durable hand mixed pot made from concrete, peat moss and perlite. These containers are perfect for succulents and rock garden plantings due to their porous nature. Please bring a pair of heavyweight kitchen gloves and wear clothes that can get dirty! You will take home what you create, one hand-crafted pot. |

Along with hundreds of other Model A Ford Club of America (MAFCA) members we serve as a community for the exchange of ideas and technical support for hobbyists while assisting members in their efforts to restore and preserve the Model A Ford. This site is one of the ways we have chosen to share what we know about this great car with our members and visitors.
We invite you to join us for our General meetings which are held on the 2nd Sunday of the month at 2:30 PM. Our meetings are at 3400 N. W. 36th Street in Oklahoma City. This is the Will Rogers Garden Center on the southwest corner of NW 36th and I-44 on the west side of the city.

Metro Camera Club
Metro Camera Club
February 14, 2023 1:00 am - 2:00 am
Garden Exhibition Building, Will Rogers Gardens
Metro Camera Club Meetings
Second and fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Will Rogers Park Garden Center 3400 NW 36th (Interstate 44 & NW 36th)
The first meeting of the month is program night. The second meeting is the viewing and critiquing of competition photos which have been submitted by the membership. Three judges are selected from our more experienced members. December is our Christmas Party and Awards Banquet.
The Metro Camera Club was founded in 1977. The aim of the Metro Camera Club, a non-profit organization, shall be the enjoyment, mastery, and furtherance of photography through cooperation, effort, and good fellowship. It's our hope that if you enjoy photography, you will enjoy associating with us. We are presently over 100 members and offer education, competition and fun.
We share our knowledge by joining in group activities that allow us to share our experiences. There is a broad range of skill levels within the group and through sharing, we are able to achieve higher degrees of technical and artistic ability. Through these activities we hope to nurture the ability to "see" and to share our interest in photography as a form of artistic expression. Monthly competition is used as the structure for learning, sharing, and challenging ourselves in our hobby. Members are not required to submit images for competition, but are encouraged to do so, as a way to develop their skills. Thanks for visiting and we look forward to seeing you at one of our meetings.
